Another fun week

This week has been full of Skype, Facetime, questions about the Philippines, and yes Mom/Grandma is still shedding a few tears. We have been able to talk to Landon, Kacey, and Payson multiple times a day through the wonderful world of technology! They are adjusting to their new life but we are missing them here too. Payson is a big hit there. I'm pretty sure they have never seen such a cute, BIG, adorable little white baby. Kacey says everyone just wants to touch him, pinch his fat little cheeks, hold him, and they all call him baby. At first he was acting a little shy but now he loves all the attention. When he reacts to them they think he is even cuter. Of course I agree with them. Pictures from Bacolad.

This week was fun with the Grandkids. Wednesday Brittany, Aubrey, and I headed to Ogden for multiple doctors appointments, the Dinosaur Park, and of course a trip to McDonalds for ice cream sundaes.

The Awesome Morgan Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt. In Morgan every year this wonderful group puts together an Easter egg hunt for all children ages 0-8. Braxton, Hayden, Dayton, Kroix, Harper, and Braelynn all loved to hunt for eggs. It begins at 12pm and is over 30 seconds later. All the kids get a basket of treats! It is a crazy fast activity but the kids love it!!! I love my grandkids so much! I can't imagine my life without all the chaos, fun, and laughter I enjoy everyday with my family.

Kody and Jordyn took Sally and Mindi for their first ever snowboarding trip. They had a lot of fun and picked the perfect sunny day. I'm not sure how much time was spent on their rear ends but the pictures seem to suggest it was a lot.

Saying Good-bye is not easy

So Landon, Kacey, and Payson left for the Philippines today. I'm not going to lie I'm sad! I will miss them so much but thank heavens for Skype and Facetime. They just arrived in Manila after flying all night and all day. They left at 9:40pm last night 3/24/2013 and arrived in Manila at 8pm 3/25/2013. They still have a 6hr layover then one more flight to Bacolad for an hour and that is where home will be for the next year......Maybe longer. We had our family and Landons family come over for a farewell party on Sunday. It went great till it was time to say good-bye then the tears flowed and the reality hit hard. Our family is excited for their new adventure but we will miss them so badly. Just think next month I get tortured once again when Jordyn and Cody take off to join them. I am not sure this momma and grandma can handle many more good-byes. We watched them go through security and waved our last good-bye as they headed to Gate C. Since Payson would be gone for Easter we partied a little early. Brittany's boys were so excited they called me for 2 days and asked questions about the party. I think they had a pretty fun time, I know I did. Love these kids so much. Just like it was Christmas they waited patiently (almost) on the stairs and then went crazy collecting all their surprises. I love doing my little parties with my Grandkids. It makes me happy, crazy, and tired.
